OFFICIAL UCA RULESET

1. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY


1.1 Age Requirements

  • Players must be 16 years or older to compete.

  • Players aged 16–17 must submit a parent/guardian consent waiver approved by UCA Administration.

1.2 Residency & Location

  • All matches must be played on North American servers unless otherwise approved by UCA Administration.

1.3 Player Status

  • Players must:

    • Have a registered and verified UCA account.

    • Be listed on an official team roster.

    • Maintain good standing with the league (no bans, strikes, or unresolved penalties).

2. TEAM REQUIREMENTS
 

2.1 Roster Size

  • Each team must have:

    • 4 starting players

    • Minimum 1 substitute, up to 3 substitute players

  • Rosters must remain consistent throughout the season unless a transfer window is open.

2.2 Multi-Team Restriction

  • Players cannot play for or represent more than one organization at any time during the season.

2.3 Roster Changes

  • Roster changes are only allowed:

    • Before the season begins

    • During designated roster transaction windows

    • Emergency substitutions may be approved on a case-by-case basis

3. MATCH FORMAT & SETTINGS


3.1 Match Structure

All UCA matches follow the official 4v4 format using league-approved maps and modes:

  • Hardpoint

  • Search & Destroy

  • Control

3.2 Best-of Format

  • Standard regular season matches: Best of 5

  • Playoffs & Finals: Best of 5 or Best of 7 (determined by UCA)

3.3 Competitive Settings

All matches must use UCA Standard Competitive Rules, which include:

  • Approved maps & modes list (updated with every title update)

  • Restricted items, perks, tacticals, lethals, and weapon attachments

  • Approved GA (Gentlemen’s Agreement) restrictions enforced by UCA Competitive Integrity Staff

A full tactical/GA sheet will be provided separately.

4. HOSTING & CONNECTION


4.1 Server Selection

  • All matches use dedicated servers where available.

  • If peer-to-peer hosting is required, the HOME team will host the match.

4.2 Connection Issues

  • If a player disconnects within 30 seconds of a map starting, the map is replayed.

  • After 30 seconds, the map continues unless competitive integrity is compromised.

5. MATCH PROCEDURES

5.1 Check-In

Teams must check in with UCA Staff 15 minutes before match time.
 

5.2 Map Veto Process

  • Home/away team selection is determined by UCA.

  • A standardized veto order will be used for each match.

  • Teams must complete vetoes within 2 minutes per pick/ban.

5.3 Match Reporting

Winning team must submit:

  • Final series score

  • Screenshots of each map score

  • Any rule disputes within 10 minutes of match completion

6. GENTLEMEN’S AGREEMENTS (GAs)
 

6.1 Enforcement

  • UCA enforces all GA restrictions that are adopted league-wide.

  • Violations result in map forfeits or escalated disciplinary action.

6.2 Updates

  • GAs are reviewed weekly and can be updated mid-season to match the evolving competitive meta.

7. CONDUCT & BEHAVIOR
 

7.1 Player Behavior

Players must maintain:

  • Professionalism

  • Sportsmanship

  • Compliance with all UCA policies

7.2 Zero Tolerance Incidents

Immediate penalties (including suspension or ban) will be applied for:

  • Harassment or discriminatory behavior

  • Cheating, exploiting, or using unauthorized third-party software

  • Attempted match-fixing or collusion

  • Toxic conduct toward players, staff, or spectators

8. FORFEITS & PENALTIES
 

8.1 No-Show

A team is considered a no-show if:

  • They fail to appear within 10 minutes of match time

Penalty: Match forfeit + strike on record

8.2 Illegal Players

Fielding an unregistered or banned player results in:

  • Automatic match forfeit

  • Possible suspension of team management

8.3 Penalties

  • Each teams have 2 force re-schedules per season

  • If a team gets 2 foreifits in a season, they will get automatically disbanded and replaced

9. BROADCAST & MEDIA RULES
 

9.1 Streaming

Players may stream matches unless:

  • The match is officially broadcast by UCA

  • UCA requests a delay or blackout period for competitive integrity

9.2 Branding

Teams must follow brand guidelines for:

  • Team names

  • Jerseys/logos

  • Social media representation

10. ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY
 

  • UCA Competitive Staff reserves the right to:

    • Overturn match results

    • Issue penalties

    • Update rules to preserve competitive integrity

  • All administrative decisions are final.

  • Each decision for the league will be handled by the UCC (United COD Committee)
